CASE- laproscopic T.E.P REPAIR of female left inguinal hernia

59 yr old female having c/o pain in left groin since 1 year,on examination left direct inguinal hernia detected and confirmed by u.s.g.laproscopic tatal extraperitoneal ingunal hernioplasty was done .  pt discharged on 2nd day,  yesterday,aftr 1 yr of surgery pt had come for routine check up and absolutely fine.

CASE- left sided direct inguinal hernia in female-TOTAL EXTRAPERITONEAL LAPROSCOPIC REPAIR OF HERNIA

59  yr old female having pain and swelling in left groin since 1 year, on examination left direct inguinal hernia was diagnosed, confirmed by local ultrasound.pt was operated for total extra peritoneal hernia repair  with prolene mesh fixation  . pt was discharged on 2nd day ,no pain no swelling,after 11 months of surgery pt had come for routine visit yesterday. she is absolutely fine. female inguinal hernia  are uncommon, contain only round ligament  as inginal canal content, so space creation in t.e.p is  little difficult.

about 40 yr of male having swelling on lt side of lower abdomen ,was operated  and biopsy suggestive of desmoid tumer,skin grafting was also done ,pt had recurrence after 1 year then lost followup

dracanculiosis on chest wall presenting as chestwall swelling

20 yr old male,presenting as 3 by 3 cm size chestwall swelling, ? neurofibroma.since 3 months. on exploration thick cheesy material with a long ? worm delivered from the mass from pectoralis major muscle. histology suggestive of dracanculiosis.very rare site for gunieworm  nimetode.

ACTINOMYCOSIS OF THIGH ,HIP AND LUMBER REGION

LT thigh exploration

A 55 yr old male,fisherman by profession ,having recurrent pus and multiple sinuses in lt thigh since last 1 year treated by somebody for debridement 1 yr back.TC 99 scan suggestive of active infection in lt thigh ,hip and  lumber region.debridement and biopsy was done ,s/o actinomycosis .treated with inj. penicillin for 3 months and then tab augmentin duo 1000 bd for 1year .has complete recovery now.its now about 2.5 years of his surgery and he is fine at present. thanks to dr ashish joshi(MD) dr kiran shah(MD) for guiding medical management of that patient.dr anirudha solanki for ortho. assistence
