CASE- left sided direct inguinal hernia in female-TOTAL EXTRAPERITONEAL LAPROSCOPIC REPAIR OF HERNIA

59  yr old female having pain and swelling in left groin since 1 year, on examination left direct inguinal hernia was diagnosed, confirmed by local ultrasound.pt was operated for total extra peritoneal hernia repair  with prolene mesh fixation  . pt was discharged on 2nd day ,no pain no swelling,after 11 months of surgery pt had come for routine visit yesterday. she is absolutely fine. female inguinal hernia  are uncommon, contain only round ligament  as inginal canal content, so space creation in t.e.p is  little difficult.
